Congress leader Rahul Gandhi recently participated in the ‘Palayan Roko, Naukri Do’ padyatra in Begusarai, Bihar, to address the pressing issues of unemployment and inflation affecting the state’s youth. Gandhi encouraged participants to wear white t-shirts as a symbol of their demand for action from the government. Meanwhile, Union Minister Giriraj Singh criticized the Congress party, alleging its failure to eliminate poverty during its governance tenure, and commended the current progress under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The padyatra aimed to draw attention to the challenges faced by Bihar’s youth and put pressure on authorities to prioritize job creation and economic stability in the region.
