BJP MLA T Raja Singh has voiced his support for the amended Waqf bill, claiming that it will effectively put an end to ‘land jihad’ in India. Singh commended Prime Minister Modi for the legislative amendment and took a swipe at AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi, referring to him as the ‘biggest enemy of Muslims’. The controversial leader made these remarks following the conclusion of the Ram Navami procession that he led in Hyderabad, which was closely monitored by a heavy police presence to ensure peace and order.
