In a recent development, the Indian government has announced new guidelines for international travelers arriving in India. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has issued a directive stating that all passengers must submit a self-declaration form on the online Air Suvidha portal before their scheduled travel. This form requires travelers to provide their contact details and health status for the purpose of contact tracing and monitoring. Additionally, passengers must upload a negative RT-PCR test report conducted within 72 hours of departure. Upon arrival, travelers will undergo thermal screening and those found symptomatic will be required to undergo testing at the airport. Passengers who test positive will be isolated as per health protocols. These guidelines are part of the government’s efforts to curb the spread of COVID-19 and ensure the safety of all passengers and residents in India. It is important for international travelers to familiarize themselves with these new requirements to avoid any inconvenience during their journey. Stay updated with the latest travel advisories and guidelines to have a smooth and safe travel experience.
