A grenade attack targeting Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Manoranjan Kalia’s home in Jalandhar has raised concerns about potential links to the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) agency and the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. This marks the 22nd grenade attack in Punjab since September and has prompted investigations into the involvement of Zeeshan Akhtar and Shahzad Bhatti, believed to have orchestrated the attack from Pakistan. Two suspects have been apprehended in connection with the incident. The attack has also resulted in the dismissal of Punjab’s intelligence chief as authorities continue to probe the motives and connections behind the escalating violence in the region.
