India’s Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh, has extended an offer to provide the Made in India Akash air defence missile system to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with the goal of bolstering bilateral defence ties. The proposal comes as part of a broader effort by both countries to deepen cooperation in areas such as military exercises, training programs, defence-industrial initiatives, and technology sharing.
