The accused cardiologist is under scrutiny for reportedly performing 15,000 cardiac surgeries, with authorities delving into his medical qualifications, including suspicions surrounding a potentially forged MBBS degree. The investigation spans across previous medical facilities where Camm worked, with law enforcement looking into patient deaths linked to his procedures. Police are also verifying his purported University of North Bengal degree. The case has raised concerns about patient safety and the authenticity of medical practitioners’ credentials in India.
