The Telangana High Court has upheld the death penalty for five Indian Mujahideen members in connection with the 2013 Dilsukhnagar bombings. The court rejected their appeal and affirmed their involvement in the twin blasts that resulted in the death of 18 individuals and left more than 100 others wounded. Initially, the death sentences were handed down by a special NIA court in Hyderabad in 2016. This recent decision by the High Court reaffirms the severity of the crimes committed by the convicted individuals.
