A recent bird flu outbreak has been officially reported in Siddipet district, Telangana, particularly at a poultry farm located in Kangal village. To contain the spread of the virus, authorities have swiftly initiated various preventive measures such as culling poultry and carrying out health screenings for farm laborers. Additionally, the consumption and sale of chicken and eggs have been banned within a one-kilometre radius surrounding the affected farm. This prompt response aims to curb the further transmission of the avian flu within the region.
