The five-time Tamil Nadu Assembly member and former Lok Sabha MP leaves behind a legacy of political and literary contributions. His daughter, BJP leader Tamilisai Soundararajan, mourned his passing, highlighting his deep affection for the Tamil language. Ananthan’s mortal remains will be kept for homage at Soundararajan’s residence in Chennai.
