Senior Congress leader and renowned literary figure Kumari Ananthan, aged 93, has passed away in Chennai due to age-related illness. Ananthan, a five-time Tamil Nadu Assembly member and former Lok Sabha MP, leaves behind a legacy of political and literary contributions. His daughter, BJP leader Tamilisai Soundararajan, expressed profound sorrow at his demise, highlighting his deep-rooted love for the Tamil language. Ananthan’s mortal remains will be kept for public homage at Soundararajan’s residence in Chennai.
