Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) have made a strong comeback in Indian equities by infusing around Rs 8,500 crore last week, indicating a restored faith in India's economic stability. This surge in investments is happening at a time when the growth prospects in the U.S. and China are anticipated to be subdued, whereas India is expected to grow at a rate of 6 per cent. This positive outlook on India's growth trajectory has attracted FPIs towards sectors fueled by domestic consumption.
