The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has appointed Narendar Mann as the special public prosecutor for the trial of Tahawwur Hussain Rana, a key figure in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks conspiracy case. Rana, who was recently extradited from the US, is now gearing up to face trial in India. The extradition process was made possible by a dedicated multi-agency team. Following his arrival in India, Rana will be extensively interrogated by a team comprising intelligence officers and psychologists. The interrogation will specifically delve into the alleged involvement of the Pakistani state and funding sources. This development marks a significant step towards seeking justice for the victims of the horrific 2008 Mumbai attacks.
