Sebi uncovers financial irregularities at Gensol Engineering, bars company and promoters from securities market.

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) has recently discovered suspected financial misconduct at Gensol Engineering, with allegations of no operational activities at its electric vehicle (EV) facility despite significant public declarations. Sebi’s probe revealed inconsistencies in pre-sales, questionable transactions, and the redirection of funds by the company’s promoter directors Anmol and Puneet Singh Jaggi. Consequently, Sebi has prohibited Gensol Engineering and the Jaggi brothers from participating in the securities market and has mandated a cessation of the planned stock division.
