Telangana Fire Disaster and Response Emergency and Civil Defence recently unveiled three ‘Rhyno Protect’ robotic firefighters and a state-of-the-art fire tender at HMDA Grounds in Hyderabad. These robots, designed to endure high temperatures, are remotely controlled and feature high-definition and thermal imaging cameras. The cutting-edge rescue fire tender, sourced from Slovenia, is equipped with more than 100 top-of-the-line lifesaving rescue tools. This technological advancement is a significant boost to the firefighting capabilities in the region, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of responding to emergencies. The introduction of these robotic firefighters and advanced equipment demonstrates Telangana’s commitment to modernizing its firefighting services and ensuring the safety of its citizens.
