Telangana Fire Disaster and Response Emergency and Civil Defence unveiled three ‘Rhyno Protect’ robotic firefighters and a state-of-the-art fire tender at HMDA Grounds in Hyderabad. These robots, designed to endure high temperatures, can be controlled remotely and come with advanced high-definition and thermal imaging cameras. The cutting-edge rescue fire tender, imported from Slovenia, boasts more than 100 top-of-the-line lifesaving rescue tools. This introduction marks a significant advancement in the state’s firefighting capabilities, enhancing their efficiency and effectiveness in tackling emergencies. The deployment of these robotic firefighters and advanced equipment underscores Telangana’s commitment to staying at the forefront of disaster response technology.
