Putin to consider Zelenskyy’s proposal to halt air strikes on civilian sites amid accusations of military use.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has responded to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s proposal to halt air strikes on civilian infrastructure by stating that he would “analyse” the suggestion. Putin alleged that Ukraine utilizes these sites for military purposes. Zelenskyy had recommended a 30-day pause in strikes, which could be extended, following a short Easter truce. However, both parties have accused each other of violating the ceasefire. The ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues to escalate, with diplomatic efforts being made to find a peaceful resolution.
