Uttar Pradesh ATS probes inter-state terror module using encrypted platforms to radicalize youth for suicide attacks.

The Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) recently lodged a First Information Report (FIR) and launched a probe into an inter-state module believed to be utilizing encrypted platforms to disseminate anti-national propaganda and groom young individuals for suicide missions. The group, operating on popular messaging apps such as Signal and WhatsApp, reportedly endorsed jihad, urged assaults on Indian security personnel, and deliberated on potential strikes against Hindu figures and Israeli facilities. The ATS is actively working to identify and dismantle this network, which poses a significant threat to national security.
