Putin alleged that Ukraine has been using these sites for military purposes. Zelenskyy had recommended a 30-day halt in strikes, which could be prolonged, following a temporary Easter truce. However, both parties have accused each other of breaching the ceasefire during this period. The ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues to escalate as diplomatic efforts are made to negotiate peace terms.
