VP Vance mourns Pope, embraces India: Easter tribute to Pope Francis followed by family visit to Akshardham Temple.

On Easter Sunday, a significant day in the Christian calendar, Vance expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Pope Francis, referring to him as a “beloved shepherd.” Shortly after, he was spotted with his family at the Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple, where his children, Ewan, Vivek, and Mirabel, were attired in traditional Indian attire: kurta-pyjamas for the boys and a vibrant Anarkali for their sister. The family also explored a handicrafts emporium and is scheduled to journey through Delhi, Jaipur, and Agra as part of the vice president’s four-day India travel plan.
