Goa Police Inspector and Constable arrested in meat bribery scandal; Chief Minister promises strict action.

Goa Police Inspector Sunil Gudlar and Constable Mohammad Hussen Haryar were arrested following a bribery scandal involving a meat trader from Belagavi. The anti-corruption branch apprehended the officers after the trader filed a complaint about their demand for money in exchange for allowing meat transport. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has pledged to take stern action in response to the incident. Notably, Gudlar has faced corruption charges in the past as well. The ACB is currently pursuing their suspension as part of the ongoing investigation.
