Goa Police Inspector Sunil Gudlar and Constable Mohammad Hussen Haryar were arrested by the anti-corruption branch after being caught accepting a bribe related to a meat transport issue. The arrest came after a complaint from a meat trader in Belagavi regarding their demand for money to facilitate the transport of meat. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has assured stringent action in the case, especially considering Gudlar’s history of previous corruption charges. The anti-corruption branch is now pushing for their suspension pending further investigation.
