Goa Police Inspector Sunil Gudlar and Constable Mohammad Hussen Haryar were arrested in a meat bribery scandal. The duo was caught by the anti-corruption branch accepting a bribe from a meat trader in Belagavi. The trader filed a complaint stating that the officers demanded money to permit the transport of meat. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has assured that strict action will be taken against the accused. Notably, Gudlar has faced corruption charges in the past as well. The Anti-Corruption Branch is now seeking their suspension.
