Goan tourists stranded in Srinagar after Pahalgam terror attack, efforts underway for return – officials.

More than 50 tourists from Goa are currently stuck in Jammu and Kashmir following a terror attack in Pahalgam that resulted in the tragic deaths of 26 individuals. Despite the unsettling situation, tour operators have reassured the public that all travelers are safe and being accommodated in nearby hotels. The affected groups were originally scheduled to explore Baisaran, the location of the dreadful incident. However, due to restricted flight operations and an additional setback caused by a landslide in Jammu, the return journey for these tourists has been postponed. Authorities are actively working on arranging alternative travel arrangements to bring the stranded tourists back home safely.
