India Suspends Indus Waters Treaty, Closes Attari Checkpost, Bars Pakistanis from SAARC Visa Exemptions after Pahalgam Terror Attack

In response to the recent Pahalgam terror attack, India has taken decisive actions against Pakistan. The Indus Waters Treaty has been suspended, and the Integrated Checkpost Attari will be shut down. Pakistani nationals will no longer be eligible for SAARC visa exemptions. Furthermore, defence advisors at the Pakistani high commission have been labeled as persona non grata, leading to the withdrawal of Indian advisors from Islamabad. The Indian government has issued strict orders for security forces to heighten vigilance in the wake of these escalating tensions.
