“India’s COVID-19 vaccination drive sees record 2 crore doses administered in a day, surpassing previous milestones”

The Indian government recently announced new guidelines for international travelers arriving in the country due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The guidelines require all travelers to submit a self-declaration form on the online portal www.newdelhiairport.in at least 72 hours before their scheduled travel. Additionally, travelers must upload a negative RT-PCR test report conducted within 72 hours of the journey. Upon arrival, passengers are required to undergo seven days of institutional quarantine at their own cost, followed by seven days of home quarantine. However, certain categories of travelers, such as pregnant women, those suffering from a serious illness, and those who have lost a family member, may be exempt from institutional quarantine. The guidelines also stipulate that airlines will allow boarding only those passengers who meet the eligibility criteria set by the Indian government. These new guidelines are part of the government’s efforts to curb the spread of COVID-19 and ensure the safety of its citizens. Travelers are advised to stay updated on the latest requirements and follow all guidelines to avoid any inconvenience during their journey to India.
