Russia’s Overnight Strike on Ukraine Targets Defence Industry, Leaves 9 Dead – Zelenskyy Calls for Global Support

Russia launched a significant overnight strike on Ukraine, focusing on its defence industry with around 70 missiles and 150 drone attacks, causing nine fatalities and more than 80 injuries. The assault inflicted damage on factories in Kyiv responsible for manufacturing rocket fuel and gunpowder. President Zelenskyy strongly criticized the attack, emphasizing Russia’s breach of ceasefire agreements and urging for enhanced air defense systems and international diplomatic interventions.
