The Enforcement Directorate (ED) recently conducted raids at the properties belonging to Rohan Harmalkar, revealing a significant land scam in Goa. During the search operation, documents related to immovable properties valued at more than Rs 600 crore were confiscated. Additionally, incriminating property papers worth Rs 1,000 crore in North Goa were also seized. Harmalkar, who ran as an independent candidate in the 2022 elections, stands accused of unlawfully acquiring land using deceptive tactics. The ED’s probe into the matter is ongoing, shedding light on the alleged fraudulent activities associated with the acquisition of these properties.
