The Enforcement Directorate (ED) recently carried out raids at the properties of Rohan Harmalkar, revealing a significant land scam in Goa. During the operation, documents related to immovable properties valued at more than Rs 600 crore were confiscated, along with incriminating property papers worth Rs 1,000 crore in North Goa. Harmalkar, who ran as an independent candidate in the 2022 elections, stands accused of unlawfully acquiring land using deceptive tactics. The ED’s investigation sheds light on the alleged fraudulent activities surrounding the acquisition of these properties.
