In a bid to identify illegal Pakistani residents, the police force has been mobilized. Security measures have been intensified at crucial points such as airports and railway stations. Authorities are in the process of conducting thorough verification procedures for migrants and tenants. The Goa police have been tasked with inspecting workers employed on trawlers and canoes to ensure compliance with legal regulations. This decision comes amidst growing concerns over national security and the need to regulate foreign nationals residing in India.
