Goa to Deport Three Pakistani Nationals, Monitor Seventeen Others on Long-Term Visas, Tighten Security Measures.

Goa’s Chief Minister, Pramod Sawant, has revealed plans for the deportation of three Pakistani nationals who are currently in the country on short-term visas. Additionally, seventeen individuals with long-term visas from Pakistan will be placed under strict monitoring. In an effort to crack down on illegal Pakistani residents, the police force has been tasked with identifying those who may be residing in the region without proper documentation. Security measures have been ramped up at crucial sites such as airports and railway stations to ensure the safety of the public. Authorities are set to conduct thorough verification processes for both migrants and tenants in the area. The Goa police force will also be conducting checks on workers employed on trawlers and canoes to further bolster security protocols. These stringent actions come amidst rising concerns over national security and the need to maintain vigilance against potential threats.
