Saab’s Quarterly Earnings Skyrocket Amid European Defence Spending Surge, Tariff Uncertainties Loom

Swedish defence company Saab has reported a substantial increase in quarterly earnings and record-breaking sales, driven by increased European defence investments in the face of global geopolitical uncertainties. Despite this positive growth, concerns loom over the impact of US President Trump’s tariff strategies. Saab’s net profit soared by 53% to 1.2 billion kronor, while its operating profit reached an all-time high of 1.5 billion kronor. The company’s success comes at a time when defence spending is on the rise in Europe, boosting demand for Saab’s products and services.
