Security forces in Jammu have escalated search operations in six districts of the region to track down terrorists suspected to be hiding in forested areas. The move comes after a soldier from the Special Forces lost his life in a gunfight in Udhampur. The combing operations are currently focused on Kishtwar, Rajouri, Kathua, and Poonch districts, with particular attention on sanitizing the Kathua-Samba region following recent encounters. The intensified efforts aim to root out any remaining threats and maintain peace in the area.
