Seven men gangrape four girls in Madhya Pradesh, including minors, after a wedding reception; accused in custody.

In a disturbing incident that took place in Balaghat district, Madhya Pradesh, four tribal girls, including three minors, were tragically gang-raped by a group of seven men following a wedding reception on April 23. The girls were abducted while they were on their way back to their village. The perpetrators have since been apprehended and are currently in police custody, where they are being charged under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, POCSO Act, and SC/ST Act. This horrific crime has once again shed light on the urgent need for stricter enforcement of laws to protect women and minors from such heinous acts of violence.
