“Uttarakhand CM launches Rishikesh rafting hub project, multi-story parking complex to boost tourism”

Uttarakhand’s Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has launched the first phase of the Rishikesh Ganga Corridor Project to enhance tourism in the region. The project includes the development of an Iconic City Rishikesh Rafting Base Station, supported by a generous Rs 100 crore fund. Additionally, CM Dhami has inaugurated the foundation stone laying ceremony for a ₹136 crore multi-story parking and office complex aimed at reducing traffic congestion in the area. These initiatives are expected to boost tourism in Rishikesh and further promote Uttarakhand as a prime tourist destination in India.
