Dr. Samuel Arawattigi, a medical practitioner operating a clinic in Chinchinim, was apprehended by Cuncolim police in Goa on accusations of rape. The arrest ensued after a report was filed by the nurse’s mother last Thursday. It is claimed that Dr. Arawattigi enticed the nurse to his home on the pretext of a patient’s home visit before carrying out the attack.
