Indian Banks to Close on April 26th, 29th, and 30th for RBI Weekend Closure and State Holidays

Indian banks, both public and private sectors, are set to remain closed on Saturday, April 26, 2025, in adherence to the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) bi-monthly weekend closure policy. Furthermore, in Himachal Pradesh, banks will be shut on April 29 to observe Bhagwan Shri Parshuram Jayanti. Meanwhile, in Karnataka, the banks will observe closures on April 30 for Basava Jayanti and Akshaya Tritiya. This information comes as part of the regular holiday schedule followed by banks across India. Customers are advised to plan their banking transactions accordingly to avoid any inconvenience.
