Fourteen Rameswaram fishermen, who were detained in Sri Lanka, have successfully returned to India and reached Chennai on Friday night. The Tamil Nadu Fisheries Department facilitated their homecoming, providing necessary transportation upon their arrival. The fishermen had been apprehended by the Sri Lankan Coast Guard on March 17, leading to their subsequent imprisonment.
