The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is currently conducting an investigation into FIIT-JEE, a prominent educational institute in India, for alleged financial irregularities and failure to deliver promised educational services. During searches conducted by the ED, it was discovered that FIIT-JEE had collected a staggering ₹250 crore from approximately 15,000 students. The funds were allegedly diverted towards personal properties instead of being used for the intended educational purposes. As a result of these actions, faculty members were left unpaid, further exacerbating the situation. In addition, several coaching centers operated by FIIT-JEE were suddenly shut down, causing widespread distress among students and parents. The abrupt closures also led to the filing of numerous police FIRs against the institute. The ED’s investigation aims to uncover the full extent of the financial mismanagement and ensure that those responsible are held accountable for their actions.
