Two employees of a copper wire firm, Gnanasekaran and Marisamy, tragically lost their lives in a road accident on Annur–Coimbatore Road in Tamil Nadu. The fatal incident occurred when their motorcycle collided head-on with a mini truck. Gnanasekaran, in an attempt to overtake a bus, crashed into the oncoming vehicle, leading to fatal head injuries for both riders. The accident serves as a grim reminder of the importance of road safety and the need for caution while overtaking on highways.
