The Electronics Components Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS) has been initiated by the Indian government with a budget of Rs 23,000 crore to bolster the production of electronic goods within the country. The primary objective of the ECMS is to elevate India’s global share in electronics manufacturing to 8 per cent, while also enticing substantial investments that will result in the creation of a multitude of job opportunities and an overall increase in production value.
