Delhi Police recently arrested Jigneshsinh Parmar, a 21-year-old engineering student from Gujarat, for sending threatening emails to former BJP MP Gautam Gambhir, who is currently the head coach of the men’s cricket team. Parmar allegedly sent these emails on April 22, coinciding with the Pahalgam terror attack. While Parmar’s family has stated that he suffers from mental health issues, the investigation into this matter is still in progress. The incident has raised concerns about the safety and security of public figures in India.
