Delhi Police recently arrested a 21-year-old engineering student, Jigneshsinh Parmar, from Gujarat for reportedly sending threatening emails to former BJP MP and men’s cricket team head coach Gautam Gambhir. Parmar, who allegedly sent the emails on April 22 – the day of the Pahalgam terror attack, has been taken into custody. His family has mentioned that he has mental health concerns. The investigation into this incident is still underway.
