A recent sting operation conducted near the Uttar Pradesh Assembly in Lucknow has brought to light a scam involving touts operating at an Aadhaar Seva Kendra. These touts, in cahoots with employees of Smart Chip Private Limited, were found to be involved in the fabrication of identities in exchange for a fee. The UIDAI officials have verified the fraudulent activities following their internal investigation and have taken immediate action by launching further inquiries and registering a First Information Report (FIR). This revelation has raised concerns about the security and legitimacy of the Aadhaar system in India. The authorities are working diligently to root out such malpractices and uphold the integrity of the Aadhaar Seva Kendras across the country.
