A recent sting operation conducted in the vicinity of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly in Lucknow unveiled a flourishing tout racket operating within an Aadhaar Seva Kendra. The operation revealed that touts, in connivance with personnel from Smart Chip Private Limited, were involved in creating fake identities in exchange for money. Subsequent to an independent investigation by officials from the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), the existence of these malpractices was verified, leading to the commencement of additional inquiries and the lodging of a First Information Report (FIR) by the authorities.
