Agra police recently captured Manoj Chaudhary, self-proclaimed ‘gau rakshak’ and Kshatriya Gau Raksha Dal member, in connection with the murder of a biryani seller. Chaudhary, initially citing the Pahalgam incident as motive, was dismissed by police. The authorities suspect the crime was a result of a disagreement over the biryani’s quality rather than a vigilante act.
