Owaisi slams Pakistan over Pahalgam attack, rejects nuclear power status as justification for terror: Times of India

Asaduddin Owaisi, Member of Parliament and President of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM), has vehemently criticized Pakistan in the wake of the recent Pahalgam terror attack. Owaisi stressed that Pakistan cannot evade accountability for the tragic loss of innocent lives by virtue of being a nuclear-armed nation. The attack, which resulted in the deaths of 26 individuals, including a Nepalese national, has prompted increased security protocols and a thorough investigation by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The incident has reignited tensions in the region and raised concerns about cross-border terrorism. Owaisi’s scathing remarks come amidst escalating hostilities between India and Pakistan, with calls for stronger international action against state-sponsored terrorism. The Pahalgam attack serves as a grim reminder of the ongoing threat posed by extremist groups and highlights the urgent need for collaborative efforts to combat terrorism in the region.
