Since its low of nearly $75,000 on April 9, Bitcoin has gained 16% and reduced the distance from its peak price to 20%. The recent 2.4% daily gain has pushed Bitcoin to the upper bounds of a range-bound channel that started in early March. Market analyst Scott Melker noted that “Bitcoin is breaking out” while Nasdaq futures were down 1%.
