Drishyam 3: The Conclusion passed the Rs 400 crore worldwide threshold after its eighth day in cinemas, according to Sacnilk figures reported by Indian Express and NDTV on October 10. The reports put worldwide gross collections through Friday, October 9, at Rs 407 crore.

The India contribution was estimated at Rs 312 crore gross, with overseas gross at Rs 95 crore. Overseas receipts on the second Friday accounted for Rs 6 crore of that running total. These are reported trade estimates, and the domestic net figure should be read separately from the gross totals.

Indian Express reported Rs 14.50 crore in India net earnings for the day across 14,583 shows. That was an 11.5% increase from Thursday's Rs 13 crore, giving the thriller an improvement at the start of its second week.

Sources: Drishyam 3 box office Day 8: Ajay Devgn film earns Rs 407 cr

NDTV put the film's cumulative India net earnings at Rs 260 crore, after a first-week total of Rs 245.50 crore. It reported an opening weekend of Rs 176.50 crore, followed by lower daily collections during the working week before Friday's rebound.

The figures describe different measures: Rs 260 crore is the domestic net total, while Rs 407 crore is the worldwide gross estimate. Combining or comparing those totals as if they were the same measure would give readers a misleading account of the film's performance.

Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the film continues Vijay Salgaonkar's story, with Ajay Devgn returning alongside Tabu and Shriya Saran. Jaideep Ahlawat also features in the cast. NDTV describes this third Hindi instalment as following a different storyline from the Malayalam franchise. The film opened on October 2.

Sources: Drishyam 3 Box Office Collection Day 8: Ajay Devgn Film Crosses Rs 400 Crore Mark

Prepared with AI assistance from the linked reporting.
