BNB Chain has recently announced the launch of a $100 million liquidity program to enhance liquidity for its native projects on centralized exchanges in India. The network will provide incentives, mainly in the form of BNB tokens, to projects that successfully list on specified major CEXs. This initiative aims to boost BNB Chain’s ecosystem liquidity and support project growth by encouraging exchanges to list native tokens. The program, executed on a first-come, first-served basis, will initially run for a three-month trial period, with eligibility criteria including a minimum market capitalization of $5 million and $1 million in daily trading volume. The highest rewards of $500,000 in permanent liquidity are reserved for projects listed on major CEXs like Binance and Coinbase. In some cases, rewards will be in non-withdrawable BNB token liquidity, while in others, they will include purchasing project tokens for creating two-sided liquidity. BNB Chain currently has a total value locked (TVL) of around $5.4 billion, ranking fourth in TVL among blockchain networks. However, it lags behind Ethereum and Solana, with TVLs of approximately $46 billion and $7 billion, respectively. BNB Chain is associated with Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange. In the past, there were reports of entities affiliated with former US President Donald Trump considering acquiring Binance.US, which was later denied by former Binance CEO CZ Zhao.
