In compliance with a directive from the Union government, the home department of Gujarat has commenced the process of identifying and repatriating Pakistani nationals residing in the state. Seven individuals holding short-term visas are set to be deported within 48 hours, with authorities also in the process of identifying 438 Pakistani citizens on long-term visas for further action. It has been emphasized by the government that Pakistani Hindu refugees will not face any inconvenience or harassment during this deportation process. This move comes as part of the larger efforts to ensure national security and adherence to visa regulations.
